About Me: I love deeply and powerfully. People, discovery, and experience. I hold life as a gesture of artistic self expression and live into that as fully as my capacity allows. When I'm limited (...or blow it ...) I grow - my most valued teachers have been the women in my life. Really. I collect moments. I'm easily excited about anything filled with heart, fun, passion or knowledge. Been a bioengineer, cabinetmaker, environmental activist, scientist, metalworker, coach, mentor, and recently a father. Borrowed for years before having one, but I was totally unprepared for the experience of having my heart ripped open daily to find ever larger, wetter, warmer ones inside. If you haven't guessed by now, I love my 5 year old son more than I can even begin to express. I've built artificial hearts and shared love with real ones. Too many eclectic/obscure interests to describe. Love having new experiences that change the way I see things for real. Road trips. Hard rock/ice mountain climbing. Guitar. Coffee. Fancy restaurants and good downhome meals in dive cafes. Oscillate between totally outrageous and lazy and crazy. I can and do fix just about anything physical. And, I guess, I'm pretty much a pleaser to the core. I don't mean that I roll over to make anyone feel good. It's actually really big for me. It's just that somehow I touch what excites me most in myself when I experience others taking off and flying.
