About Me: I am an educated, fun, yet laid back guy who enjoys the outdoors, a good book, and spending quality time with someone. I always love learning new things like sailing or scuba diving, I enjoy traveling (for pleasure, although a few Army deployments were pretty fun too), and I even bake cookies once in a while. I like helping out where I can, such as Habitat for Humanity, and like the volunteer spirit in a woman. I know it's hard to get a personality across in a simple summary, but here goes: I'm more Leno than Letterman, green tea rather than Long Island iced, quality over quantity, and generally would rather be outside than watching TV (unless it's raining and Forrest Gump or Sideways is playing). I just moved to the East Coast from Chicago, so the area is new to me. If you've lived here a while, it would be great to get an insider's take on the local haunts.
