My name is Sterling, I am a 37 year old professional,raised in the UK but now a US citizen who has yet, though trying to shed my accent. I have only recently moved to Columbia, SC after spending the last 11 years traveling across 33 countries. I love to travel and explore, I have always been fascinated by new things. As a babe I read an autobiography of Eleanor Roosevelt who really influenced me with one quote, "Do Something Everyday That Scares You". As a babe I though it meant physical danger, it wasn't until much later that I realized she was referring to challenging yourself in all aspects of your life. Unfortunately, but without any regrets I had spent 8 years doing all types of insanely dangerous activities. Lucky for me I survived virtually unscathed, but not without cost. Those years left me with a love of life that carries me without complaint or regret through life. I have a very distinctive British humour (I know what you are thinking but that is the proper way to spell humor).I like most sports and will try anything once, as long as I can convince myself that I have a minimal chance of survival. I work for the nice things in life, and yes I do know the meaning of generosity, but I live for the simple ones, the soft touch of your lover, the sound of a babe s laugh, the rain on my face, these and a million more we take advantage of daily, these are my true motivations.
