About Me: I signed up for this site on a whim, and I don't really expect anything from it. Why? Because I'm going to be honest up front. I'm 40, never married, and I've only had a few girlfriends over the years. I'm 6'0" tall and weigh 280 lbs. I'm actively working on losing weight, and it's working, but it's slow. I don't expect to hit my target weight of 200 lbs until late next year. I'm not hideous, but neither am I particularly actractive. And I'm probably too smart for my own good. Sexually, I'm pretty average, but I have an open mind and decent skills and am always willing to improve them when I can. I don't enjoy sex unless my partner is enjoying it, too, and she usually does. For those few who haven't already rejected my profile out of hand and continued looking at other guys, I can give you a summary of my background. I was born in Tucson, AZ, but moved to southern California when I was about 4. I mostly grew up in Orange County (Fountain Valley, specifically), and joined the Navy straight out of high school. I stayed in the Navy for 20 years and retired as a Machinist Mate First Class (paygrade E-6). So I get a monthly retirement check and disability compensation from the VA (don't worry, I still have all my original parts). I went back to school after I retired, and have an AS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Everett Community College up in Washington. I attended the University of Washington for a year, but left before graduating to move back down to Orange County to be with the rest of my family. I'm currently looking for a job prior to applying to attend either CSU Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, or UCI to finish my BS in Electrical Engineering. I'm not destitute, due to my retirement pay and disability compensation, but extra income would be helpful. Okay, that's it basically.
