About Me: I find it so hard to talk about myself, but here it goes. Honestly I consider myself to be rather normal. I'm a student and study at Queens university, it was only when I started university, that I really started coming out of my shell and becoming more confident in myself and my abilities. Most of my friends are through university. When starting university I joined the Brazilian jiu jitsu club in the PEC, I fell in love with the art and have met some of the most interesting people who I am proud to call my friends, who are either still currently studying or have graduated and lead successful careers. One of my aspiration. In April, me and my friend Caoimhe (who is now my business partner) from the club, plan to open our own business together in south Belfast, which will be an afterschools and martial arts club where parents can leave their babes in a safe but fun environment, and at night there are martial arts classes for adults. Currently we are adding the finishing touches to our business plan and the website is near complete. I get a great sense of satisfaction in coaching what I know to others and helping my students achieve their goals. Our dream is nearing reality. Although I am a student, I also work part time as a bartender to help pay for rent and so that I can have a bit of money in my pocket to spend on myself. Working in the bar has been real fun as the staff and management are a laugh and easy going, but it has also really opened my eyes in terms of some of the people you meet, see and talk to that are out there. One thing that I have learnt working in a bar is that I feel alot more streetwise and aware of what goes on outside of my own life and in my community. As my main hobby includes martial art, I am very active and athletic, so I like to find time to relax and wind down, depending on how I feel this could be going out with friends to a coffee shop, or something as simple as sitting on the sofa on the computer checking my email etc.
