About Me: I am a retired US Army Lt. Col. I graduated from Arizona State University and was to go to Veterinary School at UC Davis. I was instead drafted into the US Marine Corps. I applied to the Military Academy and was accepted into the Class of 1969. Subsequent to graduation I was assigned as a Detachment Commander at a Medical Hospital. I then was able to go to the University of Maryland to acquire a Fire Protection Engineering Degree. Upon completion I took a leave from the Army and worked as an International Contract Representative in Central America.I worked with Mexican Nationals and American Businesses to provide fire protection security in many industrial and mercantile buildings. I then went back into the Army to complete my Army Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. It was a distinct privelege to work with so many great motivated and dedicated Army, Marine, Air Force and Naval Military Members. My jobs were many and diverse and I loved every bit of it. There was nothing in my life so fulfilling as my military service and working with true professionals. I owned and operated a 160 acre farm for 13 years while in the Army. I raised cattle, llamas and Arabian Horses. Due to my medical training and animal experience, I was able to provide all the health requirements for all the 105 anilmals I had on the farm. I also worked with Dairy Farmers to improve their heards and milk weights. I enjoy so many things. I have always liked to shoot and was on the 63RD ARCOM Rifle and Pistol Teams. I still enjoy shooting, building and construction, gardening, camping, studying nature, music shows, fishing and about all kinds of activities.
