About Me: I am a compassionate, hard-working person who cares very much about animals and how our daily actions impact animals, people, and the environment, globally and locally. I enjoy music, as I have been playing the piano for over 15 years and I love to sing. I have blond hair, green eyes, and I like to volunteer, giving back to my community. I am studying Social Justice and Peace and Social Work at University and am proud to say that my last two Calculus tests were perfect, with my Exam in the 90's. People I know love me for my selflessness, perseverance, volunteer commitment to the community, and the many awards I have received for doing just that. The movie that I can relate to most is Tears of the Sun, because it not only powerfully shows the effect of genocide in Africa that is still going on today, but also that if good people stand up against an injustice, they can stop it, no matter how much the odds are against them. I also love to help alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable in our society, specifically young people with disabilities and animals, as well as spend quality time with friends and family. I love physical activity, the outdoors, and the beauty of all of God's creation. My favourite stroke in swimming is front crawl, for biking, I like to ride a few pedal go-karts (see gallery), and I have competed with bench press in the powerlifting section of the Windsor Classic Indoor Games during the past few years. I have a great sense of humour, since I love to tell jokes and have fun with friends, so I love someone who likes to laugh and can also be a bit spontaneous at times. In conclusion, I am a humble, down-to-Earth, and open-minded kind of person who is determined, not only to help others, but also in the face of great difficulty and resistance.
